Dynamic Site Content

Edith Wharton was looking for a site which they could keep up to date on a monthly, weekly, or even daily basis. With a budget in mind we worked with The Mount to figure out what content they would want to be able to edit in house.

James created an easy to use, web form style administration section, allowing them control over the specific sections that they were looking to manage. This included embedding a WYSIWYG editor into the forms, so that the user can control all for formatting on the page without having to know any HTML. We also included a form based image upload module so that all editing can be done in one location.

In doing this, we had to make those editable sections database driven. James created the website module which includes features for the home page, calendar, press release, and galleries.

The site is module driven, where if we have to change a global value, we only have to do it in one place. While this allows for us to make quick updates, it also saves the client money in the long run if they want to make style changes, or add new sections to their site.

The images to the right give you a peek at some of the dynamic content pages and the administration page.
